Week 7

Hi everyone! Happy Week 7!!

Thanks to everyone who made it to Masquerade Ball in San Diego this
past weekend! The boat dance was a great success with 500 people in
attendance…it was worth the $20!

Hope your Veteran's Day holiday was fun, but we know you felt the
empty void in your week from not attending a Circle K meeting! But
don't worry, because this week is PACKED with service projects

Take your pick of events to go to, and also remember to come to the
GENERAL MEETING on Thursday at 6:30PM in Ackerman Viewpoint
Conference 2 (on A-Level of Ackerman next to Campus Cuts). The UCLA
Yearbook will be taking our club picture, and also join us after the
meeting to make posters for KEY 2 College!

1) Our New Member Induction (NMI) is tomorrow (Wednesday) night at
6:30PM in Westwood! We'll be meeting at Ackerman Turnaround at
Lot 6
at 5:45PM to walk to The Olive Garden together. It's only $10 for
your meal, drink, tip, tax, everything! Come to get inducted or to
support the inductees! Dress code is business casual or semi-formal
(just don't come in jeans). Contact Caroline:

2) KEY to College (K2C) is this Saturday, November 20th!! We'll
in front of Royce at 9:30AM to set up, and the event runs from
10:00AM-3:00PM at Royce 362. K2C will provide high school students
with a chance to learn more about college, ranging from attaining
admittance, transitioning, academia requirements and extracurricular
activities. Come lend a helping hand and take part in guiding tours
and leading workshops. Pass on the wisdom gained from your
experience as a Bruin! Contact Uyen if you can help with the tours
and/or workshops:

3) Fundraiser: We'll soon be starting our See's Candies
Contact Grace if you would like to help us out:

1) November 19 (Friday):

i. TV Taping of 2 1/2 Men (CBS Mondays at 9:30PM) is from 4:00-

see stars (Charlie Sheen is in this one!), and our club gets $12 per
person to donate to purchasing canned foods for the needy! Contact
Grace by WEDNESDAY NIGHT if you'd like to go:

ii. El Camino College New Member Induction Banquet at 6:00PM. Come
support our fellow club in the Metro Division! Cost for food is $6-
7. Contact David:

iii. CSULB Annual Bowl-A-Thon is also at 6:00PM. This exciting
fundraiser benefits PTP, costs only $10, and you get service hours
for bowling! We're currently looking for a driver for this event.
